Bioderma Crealine H20 Cleansing Water

I’m fairly sure that many of my readers will have, by now, heard all about Bioderma Crealine H2O Micellar Cleansing Water but for the uninitiated a Micellar cleansing water looks and feels like water, but usually contains an oil. Bioderma Crealine is pretty much the creme de la creme of cleansing waters (although I did really love the Nuxe one I tried a while ago) and is much loved by models, make up artists, beauty bloggers….

I’ve had my bottle for several months after reading about, I forget where, and I don’t know why it’s taken me so long to get around to writing up my thoughts! Here I am now anyway 🙂

So let me start by explaining how I use mine. I don’t use mine as my main cleanser, I use an cleansing oil for my make up removal and cleansing in the evenings, no I use mine in two ways. Firstly I use it in the mornings. Secondly, I use it as a secondary cleanser at night a couple of nights a week. We have a down stairs bathroom with bad lighting, so sometimes when I get upstairs and sit at my dressing table after washing my face, I sometimes find either hints of mascara still around my eyes, or occasionally I find some sparkles left around my eyes from a particularly shimmery shadow, and thats when I’ll dab a bit of the water onto a cotton pad and give my eyes a second cleanse, although I do tend to just go over the whole face again. It saves me having to traipse back downstairs again.

So what’s so great about it? It cleanses very effectively and I struggle to believe there’s oil in there because it leaves absolutely no residue on your skin at all. It literally feels like water and is a dab hand at removing stubborn mascara amongst other things.

The big problem with this product is availability. I’ve had mine for months now and I bought mine on Ebay and I can’t remember what I paid for it, although I have £14 floating around in my brain for some reason… I do buy quite a lot of things on Ebay but I don’t necessarily recommend it, I am quite Ebay savvy I think and well practised in spotting fakes and dodgy sellers but even so I still get it wrong occasionally…

I heard tell that they were selling it on Zuneta but there’s none there at the moment so I’m hoping it’s just temporarily out of stock and will be back soon as I’m going to need some more. Short of heading over to France I’m not sure where else you can get it. Which is a shame.

Bioderma Crealine H20 Cleansing Water. Great if you can get it!

I kept meaning to try this but it was always out of stock on Zuneta. Maybe I’ll give eBay a go. Although, as I can see France from where I live maybe I should do a little ferry trip and stock up in Calais! Parents used to do it all the time to get alcohol, but obviously makeup is far more important! xx

Hi, I had been advised not to used oily products by my dermatologist, but have also heard that this is a great product. Do you know what oil it contains in the ingredients and whether this would be an OK makeup remover for oily to combinations skin? Thanks
