So today I’m blogging about two amazing products both of which I’ve mentioned before as they were used on me when I went for my Bobbi Brown Make Up lesson recently. You can see my post here.

So today I want to blog in a little more detail about the Bobbi Brown Ltd Edition Lilac Rose Eye Palette and the Long-Wear Gel Liner in Sepia Ink.

Starting with the amazing Eye Palette.

Bobbi Brown Ltd Edition Lilac Rose Eye Palette

If you only have space in your life for one eyeshadow palette in your life, make it this one. Price wise it’s a hefty £45 but for your money you get eight shadows, giving you all you need for day or night looks. It’s incredibly versatile and the range of colours suit everyone. It’s a good mix of shimmer and matte neutral shades with the addition of a shimmering lilac. At first glance it seems out of place in the palette but on the eye it blends in with the neutrals perfectly to add a certain depth and something just a bit special, without giving you a lilac frosty look. It’s actually rather clever.

I have worn this literally every single day in different combinations and different ways, but funnily enough, every single time I make use of the lilac shimmer. Adding it to the centre of the mobile lid and blending. Just as I was shown in my make up lesson. Can’t rate this highly enough. Its a fantastic palette. And I much much prefer it to the UD Naked Palette.  It’s just more… subtle and in my opinion more sophisticated.

Next, the Long-Wear Gel eyeliner in Sepia Ink which is £17 and also the Eye Definer Brush which is £23.

I have heard much about these Gel liners over the years and indeed they are not award winning liners for nothing. Coming in a range of shades these apply easily and do NOT budge one tiny bit over the course of day’s wear. The liner brush is also fantastic, working very well with the liner to apply a great opaque line. In my make up lesson they used the Ultra Fine Eyeliner brush which I think I’d like to use in addition to this one as I think it would make a nicer point on the end when doing wings with your liner. But regardless, this is no doubt fantastic. No transfer to the upper lid at all, not even with my hooded eyes.

There are several other shades I fancy adding, Black Mauve Shimmer, Violet Ink and Forest Shimmer Ink to name a few. Really a fantastic product.

Now here’s an example of how I’m wearing both the palette and the liner at the moment, but please, before you look, I’m booked in to have my brows done at the exact time this post goes live so please forgive the state of my brows, and secondly, my eyeliner isn’t even on each eye, I know this, I suck at eyeliner, what can I say?

Both products get my seal of approval. Highly recommended.
