Bobbi Brown Limited Edition Lilac Rose Lipgloss

I’ve talked a lot about the Bobbi Brown Lilac Rose collection, but I’ve still got a few things to show you, and today is the turn of the two gorgeous Limited Edition Lip Glosses, Lilac Rose and Pink Lily.

I’m pretty sure I’ve mentioned how great the formula of these is.  Highly glossy these are subtley vanilla (or manilla if you are my three year old) scented and I find them to be quite sticky. They are not extremely sticky though, but what they are, on me at least, is super long wearing. I’m just not used to that in a gloss. These even stayed on during the eating of a bacon roll. I’m surprised they aren’t marketed as long wear because they really are.

Both shades are shimmer free and milky, but where Mac lipglosses, the milky ones especially, settle into the lines in your lips, these do not. They are sheer, but still obviously coloured, with, as I say, a slightly milky tone. Very pretty.

Lilac Rose, is as you would imagine from the name, a purpley pink shade (left swatch) and pink lily is a gorgeous true pink (right swatch).

The difference between them is subtle, but there is a difference but you possibly don’t need both, unless, like me, you are a total make up addict.
