So here we are with part two of my posts about Clarin’s gloriously summery Summer collection, Splendours.
If you missed my first part featuring all the lip products, you can find it here. Today I’m gonig to show you the Eye Shadow Palette and the Bronzer.
Starting with the Splendours Summer Bronzing Palette, which is £30.
There are no words really. This bronzer is beautiful. It’s not only got a beautiful case, but the powder itself is stunning. It goes without saying that texture wise this is so soft and entirely buildable (although never dark or orange). I am wearing it in the final picture of this post, but I never go heavy on bronzers, it’s not my thing, so don’t be surprised if you can’t spot it, just know that I’m even whiter without it!
Then the final thing I have to show you from the collection, the Splendours Colour Quartet and Eyeliner Palette which is £31. Again, the case itself is a thing of beauty and as they always are, the products in their pans are so pretty too.
The only disappointment for me is the eyeliner shade, on the right, which is patchy and I struggle to get it to show up, but that said, all of the shades can be used wet or dry and I think it’ll spring to life with a damp brush, so I’m going to try that next. As with all the Clarins Eyeshadow palettes, the colours are pigmented but soft so you can build and build but they blend like a dream. Absolutely stunning.
See how the liner barely shows up. But I’m confident wet it will do a good job.
It’s a lovely lovely Summer palette, up to the usual high Clarins standard.
Here’s how I wore it, with the Crystal Smooth Lip Balm in Crystal Rose, and indeed the Bronzing Powder, but as I mentioned, I always go very lightly with bronzer, so don’t be expecting a bronzed goddess!
All of the above are available from Clarins counters nationwide now or www.clarins.co.uk/
That is all there to the Clarins Splendours collection, but it’s certainly not all Clarins have to offer this Summer so stay tuned!
