So I come to the end of my Liz Earle reviews and I must say that it’s been a real pleasure, all lovely products, even the ones I didn’t love, I didn’t hate, but mostly it’s been love. There’s been some things I will definitely buy again, and some I’d love to but simply can’t afford and a couple of things that I wouldn’t bother with. After the company read my review on the Skin Repair moisturiser where I said I didn’t think it was the right one for me, they were kind enough to send me out their Superskin moisturiser and concentrate. The prices are as follows:
Superskin Moisturiser £12 for 15ml Jar or £32.50 for a 50ml Jar and for the Concentrate £37 for 28ml or £18 for a 10ml Roller ball.
The Superskin range is designed for Mature or dry skin.
” This intense, aromatic blend of 100% pure plant oils is a rich, restoring night-time treat for all skin types, especially mature. With softening argan and organic rosehip oils, soothing neroli, lavender and chamomile essential oils plus protective natural source vitamin E.”
I am in love. This is without a doubt a very expensive product, but it’s worth mentioning that you only use the tiniest bit. One pump, which is about pea sized I should think. It smells wonderful. Spreads over the skin beautifully, and is quickly absorbed. For nighttime use only, I really enjoyed the ritual of deeply inhaling my hands before massaging in. Truly a beautiful product. My skin is soft and feels beautiful. I have been using it in conjunction with the Superskin moisturiser and all the Liz Earle products so its hard to tell whether a specific product is makeing a difference or if its the whole routine, but my skin has never been better (except for the last couple of days where because nothing in the world can help when I have a hormonal break out it would seem!). Anyway, I love the heavy glass bottle, I love the scent, I love the feel of my skin and I love the ritual of using it. I do not love the price. Sadly, despite my love, I will not be replacing this when I’ve run out.
” Specially formulated to rejuvenate mature or very dry skin, this rich, luxurious, fragrance-free moisturiser, contains a powerful blend of high quality naturally active ingredients to smooth, plump and replenish for healthy, youthful looking skin. For optimal results follow the specific facial massage techniques provided, to help clear toxins, reduce puffiness, boost circulation, encourage cell renewal and aid lymphatic drainage:
Step 1: Apply to face with upward and outward movements using firm pressure.
Step 2: With your fingertips, lightly smooth in an outward circular direction along the cheekbones to above the eyebrows.
Step 3: Using the thumb and ring finger gently pinch along the brow bone from the nose to the outer edge of the brow.
Step 4: Finish by gently sweeping your hands up the neck and over the décolletage.
The amount of moisturisation your skin requires alters with age, environment and hormonal change. If your skin feels in need of extra nourishment use Superskin Concentrate at night time. Either apply before or instead of Superskin Moisturiser.”
Another win as far as I’m concerned. Beautiful rich moisturiser. I use it twice a day as part of my routine. It is rich and does take a while to absorb before I can put my make up on but I just put it on then go dress the kids, make a coffee and I’m good to go. The packaging as with all Liz Earle products is beautiful. Lovely heavy perspex pot. As I previously mentioned, it’s hard to pinpoint which product has done so much good for my skin when I’m using the lot, but all I can say is that this has helped give me beautiful soft skin. Highly recommended…. if you can afford it. Sadly, again, I won’t be able to replace this when it’s gone, it’s way out of my league. I’m sad about that, I love it and if it was cheaper, it’d be my dream moisturiser.
So thats it, that’s all my Liz Earle products reviewed. I feel I can’t finish without saying thank you so much to Liz Earle for the opportunity, it has genuinely been a pleasure and I know of at least three people I’ve converted already 😉 There are things I will definitely repurchase, some I won’t and some I simply wish I could but will have to do without! Thank you.
