Kiko Colours In the World Collection

A new brand to me and I believe, a fairly new brand to the UK Kiko have certainly made an impact. Sometimes I don’t bother showing products packaging for products but the Kiko Colours In the World collection packaging is so gorgeous.

I received a few very colourful bits to try out. You can see swatches towards the end of the post.

Starting with the Long Lasting Stick Eyeshadow in Soft Green Apple (£6.90).

The most beautiful colour, highly pigmented, and blendable this is gorgeous and when they say long lasting, they mean long lasting. This is what happened when I tried to scrub it off with a wet wipe.

It took some shifting I can tell you. Fab product for the price.

Then there’s the Pigment Loose Eyeshadow in Breezy Azure (£5.90)

What a colour! I have to admit, I’ve not really played with this although I can imagine for those younger than me (cough)  this would be amazing. I have an image in my mind of this with the pencil up there that would be incredible, but alas way beyond my skills! Still this is stunning and there are other shades to choose from, Beaming Beige looks beautiful.

I was also sent two lip products from the collection.

Looking at the Long Lasting Lipstick first, in Red Orchid (£6.90).

Again, for the money this is exceptional. It lasts for ages. Actually I only remembered to take these photographs after lunch! So the lips you see there have been through numerous cups of coffee and my lunch. It was about 3pm when I got that annoying stain around the outside of the lips and bare in the middle. I think that’s really quite impressive wear time.

Finally, the  Extra Volume Lipgloss in Sorbet Peach (£6.90).

The most gorgeous lipgloss. A peach shade with very subtle shimmer. I have to confess I didn’t even realise there was shimmer until I cropped that photograph! It’s lovely and actually, it does plump too with very minimal tingling sensation, which you usually get from plumping glosses and I really don’t like.

Here’s swatches of all, including the eye products.

All of the above are available from www.kikocosmetics.co.uk/ along with a host of other goodies. Well worth a look if you’re in the market for affordable, cosmetics.
