Life is Beautiful! A mantra I should repeat frequently to myself to remember all the good things…. not just a great message but also Lancome’s latest fragrance.
Lancome’s La Vie Est Belle
Such a pretty bottle. Be aware that this is a small sample size bottle, not the full size but it is a replica of the full size bottle, so when I say this is a gorgeous bottle, that applies to this miniature and the full size.
The first thing that I thought when I opened this beauty was how like a Lancome fragrance it was. Not that they’ve produced anything like it before, just, well it just smells quintessentially Lancome!
This is apparently an Iris gourmand. I don’t know, its just beautiful. There’s Iris, orange blossom, patchouli, vanilla, tonka bean, praline, blackcurrant, pear and I love it.
It’s sweet, but it’s not too sweet, the iris and patchouli temper the sweetness somewhat, but the blackcurrant is detectable.
It’s almost like Lancome set about designing a perfume just for me, but actually, this is really a very mainstream scent and I think it will be extremely popular with many people. In terms of strength, well it lasts for hours on me and whilst people standing close to me have asked what I’m wearing, I’m not filling the room with my scent either! Perfect.
I predict this will be a best seller for Lancome, it’s a very pleasing every day scent.
