So I’m completely in love with Clarins cosmetics, but have very little experience with their Skincare lines.
I was recently sent a couple of brand new products that have been added to the Clarins Hydraquench line but I don’t think they are ideally suited to my skin so this isn’t a review (it seems unfair to review something I know isn’t well suited to my skin type!) but just a quickie really to tell you about the products.
Hydraquench products are for folk who have skin that is lifeless, dry or peeling and is also perfect for weather conditions that can dehydrate your skin, such as a skiing holiday, or the beach.
The range is already fairly extensive, including Tinted Moisturisers, Lotions, lip Balms, Creams and Masks but now there are a couple of new additions. Starting with the Hydraquench Intensive Serum Bi-Phase. This serum is light but intensively hydrating and repairing. There are all sorts of ingredients I don’t really understand, including two types of Hyaluronic Acid, Fair Trade Katafray Bark Extract, Inca Peanut Extract, Alfalfa extract and Red Algae. I never pretend to know much about ingredients, other than info I am provided with on press releases, but I do trust Clarins as a brand and suspect this will be incredible. I might just hang onto mine until Winter when my skin can suffer a bit, like most peoples, when exposed to central heating and cold weather. 30ml is £40.
The other new addition to the range is the Cooling Cream-Gel. This sounds like something you want in your holiday kit! The cooling effect of a gel for normal to combination skins or hot climates. Hydrating and pollution protecting formula, sounds lovely. £33.50 for 50ml.
The new products are available now, so be sure to check them out if they sound like they suit your skin, based on the quality of their cosmetics I have no doubt their skincare products are excellent also.
