Revlon Fire & Ice Lipstick and Nail Enamel launched in 1952 and became one of the most iconic beauty launches and ad campaigns ever and featured Dorian Leigh.  Today it’s back and features Jessica Biel shot by Mario Testino.

So Fire and Ice is a classic and beautiful red. I seem to have complete and utter love for reds at the moement and this one, certainly the nail polish, goes straight to the top of my list. The lipstick is also simply stunning, its purely that I don’t get much wear out of red lippies, even if I do love them. The colour is knockout.

On the nails, the polish is everything that I hoped it was going to be. Here are a couple of pics with and without flash, it’s opaque, glossy and just a lovely colour!

If this red looks like it could be the one for you then get youselves to Boots. The lipstick is £7.29 and the polish is £6.29.

I’m a big reds fan and I really rate this shade  🙂

Oooh that polish is nice, I really like reds 🙂

  2. Skin Scrubs says:

I was all about Fire and Ice back in the 80’s with bleached hair and Doc Martens. It’s a very versatile colour, can look glam, punk, or girly. Same with Cherries in the Snow.

  3. Jennifer Leigh says:

I like this red a lot. I’m not sure I like Revlon polishes though.
