I’ve got weird lashes. On one eye I have perfect lashes, or nearly perfect at least. They are long and curly and perfectly spaced and they are good lashes. On the other eye it’s a whole other story, they are short and stumpy, don’t curl and they are gappy. Damn lashes. They didn’t used to be like this, I don’t know what happened to make them change, but change they did and I don’t know why. It’s really annoying because my eyes always look uneven. Talking to people on Twitter a while ago it seems I’m not the only one.
Wow talk about digressing! In short, because my lashes are like this demonstrating mascaras is always tricky for me because on one eye they never look good!
Anyway, MUA Lash Boom. It’s got one of these wands I don’t have a clue how to use.
But I muddle along! So I have mixed feelings. The wand comes out covered in blobs. In fact the very first time I opened the tube some splatted on my desk and then as I lifted the wand to my eye, some splatted on my cheek. It’s very wet. So when you take the wand out of the tube you need to be careful to wipe off any of the blobs before you bring the wand up to your eyes. It’s a bit of a pain.
That aside its a good mascara. It’s volumising but not terribly dramatic but in terms of wear it’s excellent. This mascara is £3 only, ridiculously cheap. Usually with cheap mascaras (and sometimes with expensive ones!) I find they spread, sliding off the lashes and around my eyes. This doesn’t, it stays put all day, until you wash it off at the end of the day. It also makes my two uneven eyes look nearly the same. Result!
All in all for £3 you can’t really go wrong for an every day mascara. Available in Superdrugs nationwide and from www.muastore.co.uk.
